compass grand bois rims

anyone know who is making these? they look nice, but @ close to a hundred bucks a piece, i dont know what they offer over H+Son TB14. any comments on these rims?

I had some of the previous iteration GB rims. They were a proper rim. Strong, build well, and aesthetically pleasing. The redesign addressed the rim well that was a tad too deep. They offer nothing over the TB14 which is also a great rim.

They are made in Taiwan, while the H+Son TB14 are made in China, if that matters to you.

You can find tb14 for $66 apiece, which means that for the price of two GB rims you can buy three tb14s.....
