Yes, I ordered a seat from them back on March 22nd and still have not received it. Take a look on the web if you haven't already, there are others commenting on this company's business practices.

I also posted a response to a question posted by Basso69 regarding Race View Cycles on this same forum.

It looks like RaceView Cycles has risen from the ashes of Shiny Bikes:

RaceView Cycles is a trading name for RaceView Equestrian (as stated at the bottom of the website). RaceView Equestrian is owned by Dawn Wilson. More business info on them here: https://check-business.co.uk/business/NI631676/raceview-equestrian-limited/ (link is external)

Shiny Bikes were owned by Fraser Wilson. Business info here: https://check-business.co.uk/business/05833543/shiny-bikes-ltd/ (link is external)

Both have trading addresses at Raceview Mill, Broughshane, BT42 4JJ.

Shiny Bikes went through through Voluntary Winding Up/Liquidation in Nov 2015: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2427463 (link is external).

There are reviews online for Shiny Bikes with lots of poor ratings, many of those are in the last months of trading: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.shinybikes.com (link is external).

For what it's worth, I received my order of very nicely priced tires after about a month of waiting. If they send the package Royal Mail, you will probably be able to use the same tracking number through USPS's tracking system once it's stateside.

Yes , I have heard all the bad things about Shiny Bikes, but my one transaction through them was actually great (an Athena group) they sent an incorrect part and immediately replaced it with all shipping costs looked after. Pretty decent .

Sounds like they went South from there :)

Yes this is the former Shiny Bikes who went bust and left a lot of people without money.

Now it looks like they are doing the same thing with Race View Cycles.

Their website is thrown together using a site generator, their other company Race View Equestrian is nearly an exact copy of it using the same generator. Their prices are inconsistent with their advertising and there have been so many people (including me!) who have been stung with ordering products that have never materialized!!!

The bad experiences and bad reviews of this company are all over the internet. Along with the odd fake "good" review by the Race View themselves, usually pretending to be from the states

The latest I heard is that they are about to go bust again and aren't sending out any orders they get.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
