I need a nice silver 28.6 seat post collar. Salsa and Thomson also come to mind, but the Phil is my current favorite. Anything else warrant consideration?

I might actually have a silver Salsa stashed away, I'll do some digging and let you know what I come up with if you are interested.

Yeah, the ERIKSEN one with the O-ring and swivel female so the bolt is not flexed. That Phil is more of a crimper than a proper clamp.

The Salsa also has the pivoting nut. Way better design, won't bend bolts.

Great collar, and would look great Easy-Off'd and polished, but not available in 28.6mm per the op's request.
The Salsa/Eriksen pivoting-bolt types are excellent.

I don't see the Eriksen clamp on their site, I was thinking today I should replace my stock Seven one.

The Phil does use a threaded pivoting cylinder, see underside pic below. Great clamp.

The Phil is what Steve supplied with my Hampsten. Solid clamp.

They don't have a photo of it, but I know that they do sell it. I think the price is $26.00. Just call or email Katie.

Cant tell if the phill clamp is off-set, if it is makes a nice replacement clamp for c40s and c50s... the campagnolo is too high to be used as replacement.

I really like the DKG Seatpost Clamps (http://www.dkg-cnc.com/sizing.html). They're in Marin County right up the road from me.
This is my 1973 Super Sport.

The clamp for carbon posts, IMO.

Yes, but as noted before it is not available in 28.6mm, which is what the op needs.
Also, I am not certain that the Eriksen comes in 28.6, either.
