Does anyone know what the tire clearance is on these frames? I have one w/ a wound up fork and have always run 23's. Think it will take 25's, no idea about 28's. Before I invest in tires I potentially cant use I figured I would ask the audience. Tires are going on a set of shamal ultras (so semi wide rims). Appreciate the input.

On my Merlin Cyrene I can fit Conti GP4S 28s on Mavic open pros. But i could not fit Grand Bois 30s on Hed Belgium+ rims only 26s which is way too little air for me...

'97 Merlin Road with an original Time fork
I run 25mm Michelins on Campy Neutron Ultras and there's room for more, but I really can't say how much. Theoretically, I would think a 28 would work, but some 28's are wider than others.
Wish I had a more definitive answer for you.

It at least lets me know I have a good shot at 25s and I will go from there. Thanks!!

25's should be no problem. Here's Avocet 25's on mine. Reynolds fork.

My clearance issues stem from the wound up fork by the way, not the frame.
