View Full Version : Help: brake lever mounting clamp compatibility

I am looking at some Cinelli VIP handlebars on eBay.
Before pulling the trigger, I need to know whether they can work with mid 80's Campagnolo Record levers.
Did some research and it looks like the Campagnolo ones are reversed, clamp male, lever female.
Any chance to make this work?

Those are for Mavic levers. There used to be an adapter made for Campy, but doubtful you could find one today. You may be able to fabricate something fairly easily, though.

Yep that was my thought as well.
Assuming that the threads/diameters are the same, a piece of threaded rod and red Loctite should do. Hopefully...
