Hi,

I own a CHT from 2001 and a CST from 2003 and i would like to know what fork is recommended for my both bikes. Is only a 80mm fork possible or is a 100mm fork also usable?

Thanks

Juergen

I would recommend Fox F80RLT for the solidity and the function.

100mm would change the handling a little since you are going to be higher up and the weight shifted slightly back. I believe the Serotta bikes were desigend for 80mm forks.

I have a 2003 CST as well and mine has a short head tube to allow for a 100mm fork (which I am using a Marzocchi Marathon SL). Balance and climbing are amazing compared to my Rocky Mountain Blizzard - which is considered to be a great climbing frame.

I would check the original design of your frame - if it is a standard geometry, 80mm would be more suitable.

Good luck!

Horizontal top tube length: 59cm
Seat tube angle: 72
