I'm a relative newbie to SPD pedals (How did I live with out them?)
I just got a nice pair of Lake MX237 shoes and I'm getting ready to mount a new set of Shimano SH51 cleats to them. I go to insert the first bolt into the receiving plate in the sole and it doesn't go. It definitely is not the same size or threading as the stock bolts provided with the Shimano cleats.
Has anyone else seen this with Lake or other SPD compatible shoes? Anyone know the right size?
