Watching, thanks thwart.

Lots of bars, red/white/black, wrapped right up to the stem.

Nouvelle vague?

Riding up the gutter...

Are these roads all one way? what happens when two cars encounter each other in opposite directions? They seem to narrow to pass.

Thanks all--watching, and really good feed here.

Re: the narrow lanes--no idea! But maybe there's just enough room for two cars to pass?

was that a 'Zabel' finish?

Exciting one to watch. Trek had some (non-Fabian) riders up at the front, nice to see.

Indeed! Except he didn't even get to raise his hand because he already knew that he screwed up.

give Coquard a hair more credit - he didn't sit up until after the line. Zabel lost because he posted up; Coquard just wrongly posted up.

Hell of a move by GVA. I was disappointed that Benoot couldn't get away earlier - he was well-marked.

Interesting to see Gaviria totally outclassed in that sprint - but interesting to see that he was there after 200km of cobbles and bergs.

Fitting Belgian win on "the day after". Actually, it's a double win for Belgium, having not cancelled the race.

Huh, I stand corrected! Although I'd say that Debuscherre would have won that regardless...

Saw on twitter that this is Lotto's first semi-Classic/Classic win since 2005.

What you don't see in pictures like this is approach speed. In my case I had been off the front for many laps, taking all the primes, and was dying on the last lap up the hill. The field was coming, and fast. Look at the official's reaction. He thought I got caught.
