Good comparison. What they do on a pro's bike for branding luckily does not mean that is the public offering (http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/equipment/cycling-components/bike-wheels/c/E209).

Not that I enjoy the crazy branding ...

Yep. And I suspect that he could go just as fast on a good piece of steel or Ti. But speaking of the wheels, they interestingly do not have hidden nipples.

Watching huge white logos spin detracts from anyone hearing the internal motor being activated.

Plus if the bike looks that ugly on the outside can you imagine being the inspector trying to examine the inside . . . .ugggg . . . . pass.
