Just got this ugly thing

It is going in the shop, does anyone know the history behind it? Old Potato maybe?

Its pretty ugly but awesome at the same time, I love the weirdly placed campagnolo chainring bolts.. Not sure if it works, have to find a battery for it.

haha so do I but it is technically "ugly" but it will go well in the shop, really hopping it works.

@ultra: I guess now a days it would be easy to make something like this with a CNC or laser. This one is rosewood.

I don't think it's ugly, especially if you're a cyclist.

Not as nice as one of these (I love FLW stuff) but still perfectly OK

If it doesn't work you can probably just but a replacement motor.

Very cool. As a clock, not worth much, but the sandblasted wood finish with the logo and the bolts are too cool. How did you acquire such a cool piece?

I got it on Etsy, my wife uses the site a lot and showed it to me. She told me it was really ugly and she doesn't want it in the house but I should buy it for the "shop" and that was good enough for me

50 something bucks if I remember correctly

I found out they gave these to dealers and that there are multiple versions. Could not find a picture of another exactly like mine. Looks pretty rare

Saweet. Now see if she'll find you a 50th group set to go with it...you need it to go with the clock!

Mine..

Very cool, thanks for taking a picture. The other one I saw online looked exactly like yours. Mine has a different pattern in the wood behind the clock, its like little mountains.

How did you get yours? when you had your shop?

I think the 'unevenness' of your clocks background reflects the differential of hardness in the various areas and brought to the fore when it was media blasted to make it.

Guy that now owns CrossVegas had 2-3, sold it to me. Also a NOS Campag repair stand. The gold plated nut cracker was a gift.
