View Full Version : WTB: Ultegra 6700 Rear Shifter

I'm trying to help out a friend and need a 6700 10 speed rear shifter. Aesthetics aren't a priority, good working condition at an affordable price is key. Anybody? Thanks!

What's wrong with the existing shifter? It's not uncommon for Shimano shifters to quit working or work very poorly due to the internal grease becoming hard and restricting proper shifting. If that's the issue with your shifter, peel back the hoods and give a good long soaking spray of the internals with WD-40 several times to remove/blowout old grease, then treat the now clean internals with a good spray lube. That will often bring back dead shifters to life.

I might have something, I will look.

Thanks, Dave. I'll talk to him about what exactly happened.

And thank you, Tin!

If the fix doesn't do it, and he might consider an alternative, I have a BNIB set of Ultegra 6600 shifters that I'd consider parting with.
