I am trying to source a replacement shifter for a friend, but am unfamiliar with Shimano. I know the pic isn't great, but can someone please identify this Ultegra shifter? Thanks!

looks like 6700 series to me. not sure where part numbers are stamped on these.
if the group is 10 speed, it's 6700. 11 speed, should be 6800.
6600 had shift cables exit the side of the lever body.

Apologies, I should have noted 10 speed. Thanks for the help!

I just did a quick search and turned up nothing......BUT......I just wanted to mention that if you're trying to source and it looks expensive.....(some ebayers are proud of them puppies)......there's a guy in Oregon (I think it was Oregon) who you could send your brifters to for a nice repair.

Maybe somebody here could put down his info if they know???

Good luck!

shimano 5700 (105) shifters are plentiful and good prices both new and used...pretty sure they had the same brake pull too.
