I wish there were a better/another camera angle. You really can't see his line.

I'm trying to picture what the camera apparatus looks like. He clearly has a pole/selfie stick coming out of his pack, altho at first I though he was skiing while roped/on belay. It must look like a streetlamp to be able to get that perspective. The snowpack looks pretty darn stable, especially considering the steepness of his route.

Fortunately for the extreme skiing industry, there seems to be a pretty consistent stream of young people with poor risk assessment capabilities to star in their videos.

I had the pleasure of climbing the Matterhorn back in the late 90's. A ton of fun and just stunning. Amazing scenery and beautiful mountain. Hard to tell exactly where on the mountain he was or what his actual ski line was or is going to be. Strikes me a little as one of those things someone does just to say that they did ... which I have definitely done before as well.
