Bib sizing: Assos v. Rapha

I've been using Assos bibs for years, so I'm familiar with their sizing. Never tried anything from Rapha.

Can anyone with real world experience offer guidance...if I wear a large Assos bib, what size Rapha should I buy?

Just 1 data point so take it with a grain of salt.......

I am usually a small in Assos for all lines except Equipe which is tight on me. I have moderately thick thicks for my short height (5'2). I accidentally ordered Medium Pro Team bibs and the legs were VERY tight on me. Definitely sausage legged me just trying them on at home. Needless to say, they got sent back.

For me, the Rapha classic bibs fit almost exactly like Assos bibs. Medium in both fit me well, not too tight, not too loose. Whereas in Castelli, I need to size up to a large.

I wear the same size in Rapha Classics and the Assos S5 F1.Mille (large in both). The feel of the material is what separates these with the Rapha feeling less compressive than the Assos, but both are a comfortable fit for my 5-11, 190 body with longer torso and shorter legs.

I have a large in both and the Rapha Classic bibs fit a smidge bigger not enough to size down but maybe more of a club cut?

Concur with the previous replies: Same sizing in effect across both Assos and Rapha bibs.

Specific models of bibs used are ProTeam for Rapha and Campionissimo for Assos. They are sized and fit identically in each for a size Large.

I'm 5'10 171#s 41R 34w.

I fit a pearl and castelli L but mavic, campagnolo, capo am XL

I'll add that I wear the same size in the S7's and the Rapha's.

I am the same size in Pro Team, Pro Team Lightweight, S7 and S5.
