Meivici serial number question

I am trying to figure out when this Meivici was made. The serial number is MV-54-00029. To me this means a stock geometry Meivici, size 54cm, and the 29th one built. In the catalog section of this forum the 2006 catalog is the earliest listing of the Meivici being offered. So I'm thinking this Meivici is from 2006 or maybe 2007. I was hoping someone might have a Meivici with a close serial number and a known build year that could verify this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Given the low serial number, I would say 2006 at the latest and possibly even 2005. The model was introduced in 2005, and a limited, special edition of the first 21 were produced and sold that year (iirc many if not all of them were sold in advance of the official launch). So yours is only the 8th of the regular production.

Do you know if they made any significant improvements over the years to make the later models more desirable?
