Paceline headset caps - order CLOSED

The page is now up and running for everyone to order their official Paceline headset caps. Like the previous cycling caps, this is a preorder. You order and pay now, we get counts and place final order with the vendor, they produce and ship to me and then I ship to you. If you do not order now, you will not get a headset cap. The mods are handling the details with the vendor. They will chime in with timelines, etc.

Headset caps are $14 each, which includes a yellow bolt and a $2 donation to the site. Shipping is $3 per order to CONUS. If you are outside of CONUS, please complete your order and get in touch with me. We will work out shipping cost to you and you can send me the difference. If you don't have a Paypal account, you may send me a check.


NOTE: Paypal is adding the $3 shipping fee per design instead of per order. Please order and I will refund you the extra shipping fees if you want, otherwise the extra $3 will be given to the site as an extra donation.

There was just a piece of tape holding the envelope flap closed. Perhaps in this case it came open somewhere along the way and the USPS just taped it shut.

My envelope arrived today with two screws and one cap. The 'chainring' was in there, but the :banana: seems not to have made the trip.
The envelope looked mostly, but not totally sealed. The adhesive that held the flap down didn't seem very strong.

In the future (if ever), I would just use one of the small bubble wrap envelopes, keeps the caps protected and not sliding around, as well.

I had the same issue. My order managed to stay in the envelope, but I don't know how. When I turned the envelope on end to begin to open it, the flap popped open and the bolt and cap fell out.

I am happy to have the this. It's pretty cool, and thanks for the effort.

Also still digging the Waltz cap from last year. It's the only cap that I have ever owned that actually conforms to my dome.

mine arrived today. all three sets were complete and safe.

i can see how the self sealing glue didn't hold, but on mine it did. loosely, but it did. it's actually a nice envelope, looks recycled, it's stiff, and has an easy open tab. i'm keeping mine to reuse (with tape)

thanks so much to all for the design, ordering, money handling, envelope stuffing, shipping, etc... seems simple, but it takes time and effort, all volunteered.

OK. We are going to leave this open through this week or so and get a final count of missing items. Seems like a lot of stuff is making it there, thank goodness, even though these crappy envelopes are causing me a never ending headache.

Since this is a custom item, we need to get a final count of missing items BEFORE the reorder to get them produced and get them shipped out. Once we close it out, then we will assume you have your stuff and all is good.

Stuff is getting returned to me. I got an envelope that look like it went through a belt sander. Two bolts inside. Usps just dropped off a blank envelope with 4 hs caps in it. Very weird.
