The thread title is my question.
Has anyone here used BikeFlights for non-bike stuff?

I tried calling them, but couldn't get through.
I'm wondering about using BikeFlights for shipping some audio equipment.
And the main reason for the question is that nowhere on the site, that I can see, do they mention non-bike stuff at all, pro or con.

Your experience?
Your thoughts?

Dave, who used BikeFlights for some bike stuff for the first time recently and was happy with them so far

Kind of doubt it matters what is inside the box...it's not like bikes qualify for some kind of discount...

should be fine, all bikeflights does, as far as i know is leverage large volume account pricing and make it available to the little fish of the world. i cant imagine they actually care what's in the box.

It's fine, and you can put in custom dimensions. Putting in "Frame Box" or something only gives estimated dimensions.

While this is true I suspect there may be an issue if you need to file a claim for loss or damage.

I've shipped all kinds of things through them -- weightlifting equipment, furniture, dog crates, you name it. I tell them what's in there and they are happy to ship it all. And I've always gotten right through. The service is fantastic, the prices can't be beat, and they always get it through and chase down any delays.

I just shipped a vintage watch because their rate was better than my home FedEx account rate. No issues.
