that would be DOPE

so dope

I wonder about head clearance, though... sure would suck to take a 2" steel pipe fence post to the dome at 60mph

I've ridden a bobsled down the Lake Placid track, it isn't as wide as you would think. Going into a corner is pretty scary.

One of the most terrifying couple minutes of my life was doing the luge track at Calgary.

You sign a bunch of papers that basically say if you die it's not their fault.

Then they put a motorcycle type helmet on you. You lay down backward on the sled. They say 'what ever you do, don't put your feet up in the air' and then give you a shove.

It's loud, it's narrow, you're bouncing off the walls, you feel like you're going to flip over on the turns, then for a brief moment you get the sled straight and it's awesome. Then comes a turn and you're trying not to crash. Then a few more straights and the braking area where you're saying your prayers that you lived.

Yup. Once is enough.

Yup. Once is enough.

After reading that, zero times is enough for me...

I think once you get past, say, 35 years old one isn't quite as interested in this sort of thing.

On the other hand, I'm over 50 and just purchased and am riding a motorcycle (for the first time in my life).

Sounds like my kind of ride! Went skiing the other day and my Garmin said I hit 50.6 mph as a max. speed. Love me some schussing! (I'm over 50 and tend to do the same on descents on my bike - try not to touch the brakes). My buddies think I'm nuts, but it puts a big grin on my face.
