That is cool!

I found a coconut last week.

Not the rarest find, but where I live, very weird.

Such a great video, thanks for posting.

Awesome vid - based on comments it looks like he found a good home for the pup. Even though I don't REALLY want a dog, I feel like if this was me I'd have no choice but to keep him. Too good a story.

Same. Especially a dog as cute as this one- ah, who am I kidding, I'm a sucker for any dog.

Love the shot of him in the jersey.
I'd love to know what he was thinking while in there.

I can't watch this at work...did someone find a dog while riding? That happened to me. A little pekingese puppy. He was in the family for 13 years. Great little guy.
If not, well then, never mind. ;)

Yep, found an abandoned dog in the middle of nowhere and was able to pass him on to a neighbor who adopted him. Heartwarming stuff.

That's amazing that you found a puppy too!

Gotta watch when I get home. Sounds like actual MustSeeTV.

Awesome. We see so much negativity every day it's so cool to see things like this. Kudos to this guy and to those that adopted this little dude.

I'm a little suspicious because of the camera work and editing. And the collar. Who abandons a dog with a collar?

That's one ugly mix of a dog. Cute, though.

I once found two near kittens in a box when riding with my girlfriend in the country. They were awesome cats, probably siblings, of course. My girlfriend places cats higher than humans on a scale of things, and she actually found a home for each. I really fell in love with her watching her do all that.

This is how I found one of my cats. Riding around a well known loop I saw a little kitten rummaging in an overturned trash can. I figured it was someones cat, and kept on going. On the second trip around the loop she was still there and I realized she was abandoned/super skinny and tucked her into my jersey and rode home.

Coolest thing I ever found on a ride recently was on Deer Creek, tribulatary to the Susquehenna River in Maryland. I was riding along last Spring when the shad were running up the river. They were swimming upstream in Deer Creek when they could not make it over a little dam. The eagles were flying low and picking them off. There must have been 10 of them.

Last year we stumped with 3 dogs around the area, non of them with a single tag or even a collar, not puppies tho. Good we found the owners because my two dogs were mad at us.

Never had the chance to find a puppy, found baby birds tho.

A small stuffed toy, which I keep at my computer at work.

And road porn!

Tools, porn, toys, pets, wallets, weapons... I always find it fascinating what we collectively find while out and about.

Porn?

Landscaping trucks are are good source of stuff. Gloves, mostly, of course, but last year I eyed a brand new Mag lite flashlight (the big one you can use as a weapon) just a few hundred yards from the end of my ride. Bingo.
