Gamla Stan Cykel, Stockholm - part bike shop, part museum

Went to Stockholm for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Busy w work, so I didn't find this place until my last day there. A great shop to explore -- friendly staff and fascinating old bikes and bits -- but I'm definitely going back to rent a bike and see more of Stockholm, which by the way, has to be one of my new favorite cities.

Thought I'd share some pics. Worth a stop if you're ever there.

Back in the mid 80's my dad went there for work and got me a few things from that shop, for example a brancale plastic helmet that was discontinued at that point a wool summer jersey (i sold it here) that i used like 3 times and one of those gambla stans hats, actually i sold it here to a sweedish forumite.

My dad was telling the guys were super nice and friendly.

Gamla Stan is great, as is the rest of Stockholm. Thanks for the nice photos and the memories.
