Right? How cool is that.

If I wasn't on a bike, though, I'd be terrified.

I would expect the pig to be scared, but he doesn't really seem to phased...

Riding in western MA I occasionally encounter farm dogs- one time, one tried to herd me while I was climbing a hill. That was almost as great as a pig encounter

Last time I visited my parents in CA, I had the company of a coyote just trotting along the side of the road at my pace, totally chill. He kept up with me for about a mile.

I was on a business trip to West Lafayette, Indiana about 20 years ago and traveled with my bike. I was out on a ride through some pastures, and a big bull started running along side me for about 1/4 mile, separated from me by some wire fencing. After the fact it was cool, but at the time, I kept thinking that there was not much separating me from that very big and fast enough bull.

one time I heard something in the woods, looked over and it turned out I was racing a bear in a similar scenario. I let the bear win.

Imagine the pig coming at a right angle into your path of travel. And you're doing 60 (M/C). And it's the middle of nowhere and you have swamp and trees on your right.

I missed him by this }------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------{ much!

He stopped about 2-3 feet from my front wheel.

You're welcome for this weather .....

I'm figuring it will change unexpectedly soon. Stay on your side of town, Joe Btfsplk, I want to ride tomorrow.
