Has anyone ever use or heard of this product, gutr. It suppose to channel sweat away from your eyes. Does it work?

I used one for a while. I ride in Texas so there's plenty of opportunity.
Kept the sweat out of my eyes and channeled back towards the ears/temples pretty well. I did not like the feel of a rubber band across my forehead; but that's a matter of personal preference. Others may not mind.
Bottom line it works pretty well as advertised.

had a friend that used one. Very sensitive to angle. Get yout forehead too low and it gushes out the front.

In order to work it has to seal against your head. I did not like that feeling and got rid of it prior to determining if in fact it really worked.

I use a pace helmet liner skull cap thing

Tried one on several rides last year. Got a headache wearing the thing; not very effective as it's mostly a 'thick gasket on your head with a diversion device'; kind of wonky and didn't play nice with the helmet no matter how you positioned it. PITA for me. YMMV, but I'm sticking with my same ole...

It works fine. I used one for a long time, may have lost it in the move. I don't mind the feel on my forehead, but as said above, you need to have your head fairly upright, too far down and it just pours out in middle into your glasses. Worse that nothing. For this reason, it works better on MTB rides, when I'm more upright. In the drops, I am tipped down further, and have to remember to turn my head to the side every few minutes to "spill" down my temple. It still works, but you have to be conscious of it.

Great for standing sports like squash.

Houston...they used to hand these out to us when i worked in a steel mill during Summers in college. I eventually resorted to a bandana because they didn't catch on fire when the flames came too close for comfort. These might do the trick for you unless your riding is taking you near molten lava.

I tried one on my trainer. I got sick of sweating into my glasses and being unable to see. I tried it once and never used it again. I had much better luck with the Halo headbands (http://store.haloheadband.com). I have a few of the Halo V headbands that have Velcro closures on the back. I don't know if the Velcro is necessary, and it may be the regular Halo II would be better under a helmet.

There was a guy in the NYCC who used one. He came on a ride of mine once. I told him never to return. The thing sent sweat all over riders behind. Disgusting.

I use one. It works well for me. Less fogging of my glasses and keeps the sweat out of my eyes pretty well. Haven't had any complaints from pace line buds behind me.

Use one during super hot summer rides because my head perspires a bizarre amount. Works great as long as you periodically tilt your head to the side to drain it out. Also leaves a line across your forehead.

Halo has worked well for me, and believe me, St Louis is both hot and humid. Plus I wear glasses.

Comes in multiple fomats - tie, elastic, skull-cap, etc. Has a little rubber strip on the back face of the front area that does a good job of moving the sweat to the sides. That combined with evaporation from the fabric does the trick.

I wear quality cycling caps with a thick headband. That keeps the sweat at bay for a while, but eventually the dam breaks. It's Texas so it's freaking hot.

No way I'd wear that thing. You might as well wear shorty, below the ankle socks as well.

Didn't work for me. Sweat poured at inopportune angles and often gushed. Plus it was uncomfortable. I do better with a standard beanie.

Gutr didn't work for me never got a great seal and did not like the pressure on the forehead.

I use mine in my wife's spin class. It works great. But I do not know how well it plays with a helmet. You also have a more upright posture on spin bike.

We live in Colorado so it's not needed outside.

I used two indoors. Too tight and they gave me a headache but I was able to get them to work at a lower tension. They both broke eventually at the same spot and I switched to Halos and conventional headbands.

They're not really deep enough and so they don't work at certain angles. It's a common complaint.

I did get a 3D printer that can print flexible filament so an improved version of the Gut'r is on my list of things to make someday.

I'm going to be significantly upgrading my ventilation for indoor riding soon and may no longer need headbands.
