Today we have E-Tap from the UK, the Boardman is going to CABDA/Chicago then back to London. It was my first time installing and adjusting. If you like Double Tap things will feel familiar. Adjustment was straightforward allen keys and then using buttons on the shifter. The only hurdle is while working on drive train I rotate the pedal with my left hand while my right shifts. The E-Tap needs two hands to make the big/small small/big front shift. If anyone has a technique to hit both shifters and keep the drive train spinning. Enjoy!

Figures, How do you check front shifting in the stand?

Nice! I got to play with it during the Richmond Worlds, SRAM had a popup store with it. BTW there is a small button on the junction box that shifts the FD one-handed ;)

could tie/tape a string to both paddles. grab string in the center and twist your hand.

Been wondering - does the shift paddle move independent of the brake lever? Read - can you grab just the paddles and pull them towards the bar? I like this feature of the mechanical stuff for sprinting - where I can wrap my pointer finger around it, keep a firm grip on the bar and just a little wrist flick from the drop will downshift.

the E-Tap lever is fixed to the brake lever, not like Double Tap where shift lever can be pulled back from brake lever.
