See link below for 2 videos about benefits of cycling programs for kids in school. I am a big fan of John Ratey who is in the second video. He is a Harvard Medical School professor who really understands the link between exercise and performance/happiness. I have read his books and they are great.

Some schools don't allow kids to cycle to school because they consider it dangerous. However, all schools allow kids to buy sugary drinks and junk food from the vending machines.
