Yes, looks great.

I'm going for one of the new pink Monstercross framesets.

I'm in line for a British racing green cross frame. I really wish the orange and blue paint job was an option on every frame.

I kind of want one but it would be totally redundant.

Grand compe Non aero levers
Grand compe center pulls
IRD fluted crank
Record 10 downtubes
Silver campy derailleurs

What kind of BB shells are those with the lips on them?

That's probably just something to keep the paint out of the threads, like the bolts stuck in the other holes.

Sounds plausible - perhaps to keep the labor of chasing threads to a minimum.

Not bad, nice tribute and of course, steel, which is good but...geeez, just get the real deal, IMHO..lotsa Molteni Merckx's out there. Even the 531 Falcon ones are preety nice(not the non 531 ones tho)..

Or buy one of the ton of vintage Merckx's, have somebody paint it, like Waterford did to my Corsa...lots of decal sets also. IMHO, of course.

Maybe, betcha can't run 28-33c tires in an original.
To add to above, was riding...yeah honestly I could take or leave the molteni scheme, there are other classic paint colors I might prefer, British Racing green, eg. I don't hate it though, and remember lusting after one of the early 90s reissues way back when. I am excited about trying one of these BMC frames though, based on the all positive reviews I've read, tire clearance, geometry, price point and wanting to have a steel bike again.

Wouldn't want to use anything bigger than 28s on it and ton of room for that.

25c tubulars and it rides like a dream.
