I rode yesterday afternoon in ~90 degree heat. I got home sweaty (obviously) but then didn't stop sweating for an hour. I figured that was bad so I took a cool shower.

I think I feel dumber today so I probably cooked some brain cells ;-)

My average ride temp in August was 72. I roll out of the garage between 4 and 4:30 AM.

you get a good strong spring season in and you're feeling prime. Then tomorrow's ride is greeted with a 20 degree upswing in temps and once out there you feel like you're back to square one. Ouch!

Is there available light to ride?

Is there available light to ride?

I use a L&M Arc light which I can shut off about 5:45AM as the rising sun takes over.

There is something really cool about riding at night then having the sky light up as the sun rises.
