Did Campagnolo make a 9V Record rear derailleur with a carbon faceplate like the 10V models? I can't remember seeing any in the past and wanted to confirm.

Thanks!

Been told that later model 9V and 10V Campy derailleurs are all cross compatible. I have used a 10V in a 9V drive train without problems. You probably know some 10V derailleurs had the carbon section.

No, last year of 9s, 1999, face plate was aluminum. First year of 10s, 2000, faceplate carbon.

Thanks OP. I have a Record carbon-faced rear derailleur in my parts bin and it doesn't say "Campagnolo 10 Speed" like most I've seen. I wasn't sure if there was a 9V carbon-faced Record or if perhaps I had an early 10V without the writing on it.

Next question - do all 10V rear derailleurs work with all 10V shifters?

Thanks!
