NOS CAAD 10 Frames E Bay $600 Legit?

No matter how you feel about aluminum frames, A new 2015 CAAD 10 frame, CF fork, and headset is a lot of frame for these prices. Some say from a Ogden, UT, Cannondale dealer. Are these real CAAD 10's? Or are aluminum frames going for this amount normally this time of year? Leftovers. Also notice Specialized Allez Smart weld about the same price.

As a data point: I purchased a brand new, close-out CAAD9 frame/fork/headset/bottom bracket/crankset for $475 when they came out with the CAAD10 ~5 years ago. So $600 for a new, close-out CAAD10 frame/fork/headset seems about right.

The modern CAAD frames are awesome. I've been enjoying the heck outta mine the past handful of months (a CAAD9 that I picked up here on forum and recently built up). Super comfortable, super responsive, they are a terrific value. GregL--did you sell that CAAD9 to me by chance? It's white & red, 54cm. Picked it up from a forum member about 3-4 yrs ago and can't remember who it was.

I'm pretty good at spotting red flags in eBay auctions, but this looks totally legit. Great seller feedback with long history, US based, will only ship to US, lots of detail. I could see myself picking one of these up. Fantastic deal!

I have a 2013 white / black Caad 10, there's no better all-around road racing bike, period. You can get 'fancier' or go carbon etc but otherwise...

I might be lucky also but three years in & out of the hatchback, often staying there weeks at a time, sometimes riding dirt / gravel and I the frame has zero dings or dents so it's not quite as 'fragile' as some first suggested.

Q: Since I've been so satisfied, I've not looked for another Caad 10 since, when C-dale switch to internal cable routing?

$5800 for a top shelf dura ace caad is friggin bonkers. the sisl crank is a grand+ in that price though.

the ultegra spec is by far the way to go at $2600. gets the si crank too.

that is, if you must buy new. gently used market is the way to go, provided you find one at the right price.

great price if you're looking to build up with leftover parts. i am a die hard steel guy and i think these bikes are very comfortable too. i sold my lightly used caad f/f for $500 on CL

Not me. I'm still very much enjoying my blue 56cm CAAD9. One of the best all-around road racing bikes I have ever owned!

Yah, it seems like low mileage and NOS last model CAAD framesets go for around $400-$600 on ebay. I ride my CAAD9 all the time, it's worth more as my commuter and "beater" than what I could ever sell it for.

Just bought one for $594. $19 shipping. Dealer (A real Cannondale shop in Ogden, Utah), put a 68 MM threaded sleeve in for additional $25. I'm satisfied.
