I'm currently using one of these for a 1x10 setup with a clutch rear derailleur. No problems. So not just for single speed! Great price for a fantastic and seriously good looking crank.

What cain are you using? last time I tried to run it 1x10 the chain would get stuck slightly has it came to a full rotation.. maybe I should keep them (at this price:) and try the 1x10 again..

Standard SRAM 10 speed chain, x9 derailleur. I think WI claims a slight 'break in' period for the chain rings. I ran mine as a fixed gear (3/32) for several months before I switched. Maybe that helped?
