This frame is an `80 to`84. It's not a race lite nor is it a cx.

The Race Lite was a MTB frame, so as you noted it isn't that.

He offered a Road Lite at some point. Perhaps that is what it is?

Doesn't look like what my Road Lite looked like. Mine had thinner stays.

It was. The seller is David Barrette who is very knowledgeable, and he wasn't very specific about the model, which I'm sure he would've specified if he knew. I'm thinking that this frame is much earlier than the more notable CX's and RaceLites.
