Most likely on here somewhere but could not find it...

I have a dt 240s road rear hub 10 speed and want to convert to 11 speed.

I know the J bend mtb hubs can be converted to 11.

Is it the same for the Road hubs (just a new free hub and cap?)

Thanks BTW if this is the case anyone have one for sale?

thanks! tim

Technically you need to re-dish by about 1mm....I didn't bother.

Pull off RH axle end, FH body slides off. Don't lose the springs and note orientation of discs. Grease on axle, light oil on disc 'teeth', new FH body one WITH proper(marked 11s) axle end. done

I saw those but are they compatible with the star ratchets? It says 3 pawl hubs(370 hubs?)

ebay. REALLY good price.

I think you need this one for the ratchet hub:

And these end caps if thru axle (only need the right side):

I used these to convert an XR 1501 (mountain) wheel. Also, I wrote to DT directly regarding the conversion and they replied very quickly with the exact parts and part numbers I would need.

While you are at it the 72-point engagment upgrade is pretty nice as well, useless for road riding but sounds pretty damn cool.

Yup, wrong link, why they are so cheap!! About $75-$90

so this one says 3 pawls. Is this not the correct one? It says 11 speed on it but maybe the picture is not what you get?

Ah... I didn't even know pawled versions existed. My $100-on-sale variety was the geary/rotory thing

BUT - still just about the least expensive/easiest 11-speed conversion you're going to find.

Even that's a solid deal.
