It's ridiculously warm and rainy in a lot of places at the moment. What's everyone riding to deal? Winter bike? Trainer? I'm on my "regular" road bike with Crud Roadracers. Normally this time of year I've transitioned to winter MTB boots full time on all my bikes but it's too hot for that so I'm doing road shoes with waterproof covers.

I post this one too often... but its worth it. Fenders, bag to keep dry stuff, 28mm gravel kings, 30-40-50 7speed triple, wear any shoes you want.

I ride this in the rain, in the sun, in the snow, in the dirt, in the gravel, on the road, off the road, in town, in the country, near the river, so yeah, its what i'm using today to brave the snow too!

This one is getting the most miles, with Seattle enduring the 2nd wettest Dec on record so far.

Between work, shopping, day light and weather, I haven't found the magic combination that allows me to ride outside and take advantage of this warm up. :crap:

It's been all trainer since thanksgiving. :help:

This one has been getting a lot of miles in last couple weeks-
Kent Eriksen with fender mounts, Serotta F3 fork for long reach brakes. 25mm Conti 4 Seasons- I might try bigger when these wear out.

I am considering an almost identical bike for disc brakes- so this one may get re-homed.

Passed by you and your friend at Fairfax when I stopped to grab a cap at Sunshine Cycles this past Sunday. Thought you might be a forum member to be riding such a stylish bike.

It was such a nice day today in central NY that the summer bike almost made a cameo. The Elephant however was anxious to get out. How could I say no?

A traditionalist like you would consider disc brakes? I have to see it to believe it :D.

I decked this out with battery powered tree lights for the Christmas Lights Ride, and have been riding it during the warm, damp weather this week. It's been dark, foggy, sometimes on-and-off misting and drizzling, but still possible to get some pleasant rides in, sometimes ducking between the rain drops. It's great to have a light that's always ready to go, and the fenders to a marvelous job keeping both bike and rider clean and crud free.

My trusty Poprad photographed on Christmas Eve and on this morning's rain soaked ride. Campag Centaur 10-speed and Record/Reflex tubular wheels with 27mm black Paves. The drivetrain and wheels were all purchased from Forumites.

Just riding my regular (British Racing Green) Jonathan Greene steel frame with Enve Fork bike and mix of Campy 10 parts with Zonda wheels. Although a little warmer than usual here in Central Florida today (mid 80's), just a regular riding day. No special equipment or clothing. Roads and trails covered up with thousands of cyclists. Have no idea what's going on in tourist area....that's about 30 miles from me. Never go there. EVER!

Carbon wheels have gone away for winter, replaced by the alloy Belgiums. And a frame pump.
