I am still obsessing and thinking about what drop bar to put on my mid 90's Ti MTB. I want to use the existing Sram 9.0 grip shifters, which I think requires a MTB size bar -- 22 mm v. 23.8 mm.

The only ones I've found so far are the Soma Sparrow. Any experience with the Sparrow? Other options?

Thanks!

Soma Gator bar should do it as well.

Origin8 makes drop bar ends to add to a mtb bar. Amazon sells them for around $20...

Scott Rake was similar, but would need to be shimmed down to 22.2 mm, as the clamp is made to mount on a 26 mm road bar.

I've got a Soma Sparrow on my fixed gear. Nice bar, but too narrow for an MTB in my opinion. Not sure I'll keep it long term, as it doesn't offer many hand positions that work for me.
