If by rapha you mean they stepped up their package and design then

Does the little slit carved out really make a difference? Serious question.

My experience (non brooks saddle) is yes. It's not about what is gone, it is about what is left. I've found saddles with cutouts have more give than equal ones without.

yes.

after having a C15 that i couldnt ride for over an hour and trying a C15 carved that i could, it does make a difference, for me anyway...

Yes, though I still prefer their leather offerings. I like the cambiums but my skinny butt doesn't.

I am the same way. Liked the cambium when it came out for about half a year and then it just stopped being comfortable. Now I use a berthoud and its awesome, best leather saddle I have ever had.

As far as carved vs carved I think it really depends on you. I have tried saddles with the channel that have been uncomfortable to me and some that don't have it that are great.
I have a selle italia superflow with the biggest cutout and its just ok, I actually find an aliante to be more comfortable but I am trying to give it a few more months.

David Millar must wear sunglasses that are mirrored on the inside.

Has rapha ever tested David Millar's ass on the arenberg?

As ripe for ridicule as some of their copy is, I'm not sure they ever made such an awkward attempt at inspiration.

Big news I see is that the C13's are coming in widths up to 158mm.

Same. Really dug the C15 and C17 but was developing some perennial issues and the carved versions of those saddles completely eliminated said issues. Even cut out chamois creme as well. They are very different though (carved and non) so I highly recommend testing both on some good long rides.

I have the brooks swallow Titanium mounted on my Pegoretti and this is by far the best seat I ever had.

Do any of the new cambiums work with a large saddle to bar drop? Tried a few offerings like the Swallow and Swift, but never worked for me.
