Rock Lobster Team CX almost complete build for sale. This frame was made for a local racer several years ago with Easton Scandium tubing that's not available anymore, and hasn't been completely built up at all. I meant to build this up as a winter project, but I've decided to change directions and put my money towards other things. Selling everything I've collected for this build all at once, or I will part out the groupset, frameset, and wheels.

Frame: Rock Lobster Team CX w/ Scandium tubes. I took the frame to Paul to get bottle bosses installed so I would be able to put cages on it eventually. 51cm ST 535mm ETT

Fork: Easton EC90X, new, uncut

Headset: Chris King Sotto Voce

Shifters: Sram Red Yaw 10s, front shifter has the shift lever removed, but will be included with purchase if you want to make it 2x again.

FD: Sram Apex

RD: Sram X9 type 2 clutch med cage

Cassette: Sram 1070 12-32 10s

Chain Sram 1030

Cranks: Sram S900 w/ Wolftooth Direct Mount 36t chainring. Will also include Sram 42/36 cross rings in like new condition, but I don't have the spider.

Wheels: Pink White Industries T11 hubs laced to Pacenti SL23 v2 rims with Sapim Laser spokes. 24/28. Stans rim tape, only 1k miles on them.

$850 for Frame/Fork/Headset, $450 for groupset, $650 for wheels.

OR $1750 takes it all

Buyer pays shipping and pp fees.

Do you happen to know the rest of the numbers on the frame? STA, HTA, HT length, Drop, CS length and standover?

I don't know of the exact numbers, but I can give you estimates when I get home. I wasnt given a geo chat when I got the frame.

Any more info on geometry? Stack and Reach would be especially helpful if you have those.

Standover, too.

Wishing I can make this work.

So I only have estimates because I'm just using a measuring tape and these numbers are not precise at all, but I hope this is adds a little more detail.

HT length: 118mm (148mm with king hs)

CS Length: 425mm

Standover: With my 25mm tires on my wheels, around 78cm

Reach: 375mm

I can't believe it, one of the best things I've seen offered here in a while.

NOS Scandium Rock Lobster...s-c-a-n-d-i-u-m. stuff of legends.

Just look at it again. Looks great standing still even without the clicky round bits. The way the top tube and downtube embiggen to join each other at the head tube. Dang, that's cool.

I just won 6 races in my head on this bike, a slightly shorter me, but I was shredding still.

Man, that's already an excellent deal. I wish it was anywhere near my size (58cm). I have a steel gloss black Rock Lobster road bike and it's great. If this fit me and I was looking for a CX frame you would be done with this sale. Somebody buy this thing! It's one of the best deals on the planet!

Muffinman,
I just looked at the pics again and when I first looked, it appeared to be set up as a 1x9/10/11 from the two cable guides on the top tube, but looks like there is a downtube braze on the left side for a front der? Am I right on that?

Low quality cell phone pics because it's dark out, but yes, there's a FD cable stop and guide.
