I have a medium setback seatpost on my track bike, and it fits comfortably. It's also how I was fitted when I bought it, with my knee square above the pedal spindle.

I've noticed that I spend a lot of time very far forward on the saddle when riding, however, especially when mashing up hills and sprinting.

Should I try a zero setback seatpost for this? Does anyone use one of these on their track frame? I use it for road fixed gear riding and velodrome stuff.

I have a zero setback on my track bike but what ever works do it. Can you just slide the saddle forward a bit on the post you have?
