Halifax driver facing charges after confronting, assaulting two cyclists
A 50-year-old man is facing two counts of assault after the Sunday morning incident on Old Sambro Road.

A 50-year-old Halifax man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting two cyclists Sunday morning on Old Sambro Road.
Officers responded to the incident near West Pennet Road at about 11:20 a.m., Halifax Regional Police said in its public report.
The two cyclists had been travelling along Old Sambro Road when a vehicle passed them, resulting in a disagreement with the driver.
"The vehicle forced the cyclist to stop," police said, adding "the driver confronted the two male cyclists and assaulted both of them."
The cyclists both received minor injuries. The driver will appear in court at a later date to face two counts of assult.
