I did watch the final showdown between Taylor Hicks and Katherine McPhee. Taylor dropped her bigtime, to use a cycling term.

I think ATMO ought to let a long handlebar mustache grow down to his neck and star in a new program called American Torch, atmo. The program would be aired at People and Arts; and it would be about ATMO building bikes and screaming at his son Spencer and dropping pearls of literature on the Internet and napping a lot. He'd need to get some tatoos on his arms and shoulders and wear tank-tops and cuss a lot with corresponding beeps on the sound bites. ATMO would be shown for fleeting seconds test-riding the bikes he builds, fishing on the Connecticut and Farmington rivers, schmoozing with celebrities, and cuddling with the lovely Deb. How 'bout it, atmo?
