I'm very happy for him. There's nothing more important than a good education, atmo. Sounds like he's gonna make you proud (and already has) bro.

You have every reason to be proud and thanks for telling us. Now when he's ready for college, drop me a note. I know a few things about admissions and outcomes, perhaps I can help. And that goes, of course, for fellow Forumites. Let's just say that I see higher education from the inside.

well done, youngFixed! and parental kudos!

WOW!

You should be (and are I'm sure) very proud. I have a 13 y/o and a 9 y/o and I'm always hopeful that "things" will work out for them in the long run.

WOW!

A full scholarship should mean more money for bikes!

Congrats Fixed.

Came home last night from my cyclmute and there in the dining room, in MY parking spot, was my son's Quintana waiting for tomorrow's ride to school. Where was I to put my bike for tomorrow's cyclmute? I arranged a space and my wife walks by and mutters, "Oh great, now two bikes."

I was beaming, the house was decorated the way I wanted it to be.

Fixed,

Congratulations! A scholar and a cyclist! You must be bursting with pride. He sounds like an exceptional kid.

Personally, I'm still on a high from my daughter's Bat Mitzvah this last weekend. I've had to restrain myself from boring the forum with my tales of her accomplishments...

There's nothing like seeing your child's achievements. It's the best feeling in the world.
