I think Sennheiser makes good ones? Wondering if you have tried any brand and what you like?

I have a pair of Beats sport things. They were like 200 bucks but work awesome. I use them when I run and at the gym.

Yes they do. I have these. Mostly my wife uses them so she can watch tv when I want to sleep.

good timing for this thread. i'm considering something similar mostly because i'd have to crank up the tv volume too high to hear it over a trainer and i'd wake up the whole house.
i see some good options for those over the ear types, but think that it would get awfully sweaty when working out. is there something similar that's more of an in ear earbud format? i've only seen bluetooth variants of that.

I have the green Mpow ones that are on Amazon, along with their Bluetooth transmitter. Works great. Sounds good. Cheap. I use them on the trainer.

Saw these as I walked into a BJ's store the other day.

No idea what kind of sound quality they have, but cheap - $40.

interesting. so with the transmitter i could just use some bluetooth headphones i already use with my phone but how does the pairing work? neither one has a screen to pick and such, or does it only work with mpow stuff? i assume you don't have to pair them each time....

I've only used them as a set. I do pair them every time, but that's part of the power-on procedure. Hold down the transmitter power button until the lights flash. Let go of the button. Hold down the headphone power button. Listen for "power on", followed by "pairing". Let go of the button. Sound comes through about 2 seconds later.

With your existing headphones, I would power on the transmitter until the lights flash, then pair them as you usually do.

I've been enjoying my Sennheiser HDR170's for the past several months.

+1

I use the Jaybird X2's. They're pretty good; as much as I can judge in 4-5 months of usage - decent battery lifetime of 6-8 hrs on avg, good sound/bass quality, mic quality isn't great people who've called me while i'm on the go have complained (or I'm just not used to speaking into a tiny piece of plastic), easy sync with iphone (don't need to pair it everytime you connect it), haven't used them while running yet since I haven't been able to adjust the auxiliary rubber pieces to my comfort level.

They retail for ~180, but they frequently make appearances on Massdrop, where you can get it for around ~120 on average. At that price, its worth it.
