I love Christmas, but things are definitely out of control. A local station will be playing Christmas music any day now. Ugh.

But I haven't found any traction....
I think Christmas should be split into two holidays.
Let the retailers and shoppers have the one in December. Call it Yuletide and
let it go back to its pagan origin. A time for feasting, family and
gift giving.

Let Christmas be for the spiritual celebration of Jesus' birth. It can be held in the
spring some time before Easter. A time for prayer, meditation and reflection.

Santa can have Yuletide.
