Interesting that I did not see the railroad tracks between the two neighbor hoods, obviously the top one is the nice side of town :D

Didn't they misspell Huffy? (This from an Australian- where Huffys were never sold....)

How strange. Do cyclist yell at cars to "get on the sidewalk" or anything?:p

I guess it depends on which database the map is pulling from. On both Google Maps and Open Street Map the street name is spelled "Huffy Circle".

Let's not get all huffy about it. :)

Specifically, this neighborhood is in the southwest corner of Nashua, NH. The railroad tracks mentioned are no longer an active railroad, but have been converted into the Nashua River Rail Trail (this neighborhood is at the northern terminus of the rail trail). The rail trail runs 11 miles from Ayer, MA, to Nashua, NH.

Get out of town, I thought this was a joke. Then I googled it. it's legit! what is the story behind this? Who is responsible for such awesomeness?

Thanks for posting this.

What is old, is new again :) (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=113466)

Pics from my field trip to that development on the 2nd page of that thread.

Haha.. someone mentioned in that thread "Where is Bedford St/Ave?". I'm sure there is a Bedford Street somewhere near my town if someone wants a picture of a Bedford Street. No "K" though.

I must have rode past this cycling neighborhood before, I used to live in Nashua, NH and would head out almost every weekend and go past the end of the Nashua River Trail or whatever it is called on my way out to Hollis. I've never actually rode the trail or gone into the neighborhood.

On a 60-70 mile ride this neighborhood is reachable from my house so I may have to ride through it at some point. (I saw this when looking at someone else's route on Strava.)

Our town has a neighbourhood with all the streets named after '60s musclecars. This is much better

Anyone else think it's kind of a weird mix of names?

It's almost like someone just looked in their garage...

Three MTBs, three roadies, and a "Huffy".... but given the Serotta in there, I think it's fairly safe to assume that's not a Huffy-made Huffy.

It's cool and all... but it'd be cooler if they'd done all custom steel bike manufacturers or at least just stuck to road or something.

I'm guessing whatever suburban developer laid this out was a part time cyclist. At least he/she had fun with it.

think Sinyard would sue him for naming Specialized Way?

SRAM Boulevard is always in need of repaving...

The developer that laid this out obviously hadn't had his coffee first. If he was thinking, he should have laid out the streets more like Washington, DC. That would be in a hub and spoke pattern. http://forums.thepaceline.net/images/smilies/hello.gif
