I want to make one & I need to know how thick they are.

I have the one on the left but it's too thick - won't fit between the pistons.
Thanks

I believe that your brake uses the same spacer as current XT and XTR discs, a Y8J712000. I'll try to find mine this evening and measure it for you. These instructions might be helpful if you want to make one without knowing the width or a temporary spacer with business cards:

Try an 8 mm allen wrench, if you want the real Mccoy I can give you one or 2

nevermind
my dummass didn't push the pistons in far enough :crap:
So you are able to use that one, right? You want to be using that one for a bleed because you don't want your brake pads in place.
Someone, Park I think, makes a really nice tool like that but with a handle.

yeah, I can use the one I have. I just have to secure it with a rubber band.
