Sorry to hear this, maybe this has been the word on the street for some time, I don't know. In any event, I need a der hanger for a FORM Prevail - where to source at this point? I'd probably buy several.

Thanks.

Did they use Paragon machine works dropouts? Lots of small builders do..... If so that would make replacements easier to locate.
I recently saw my first Form in the wild, a nice looking bike. Too bad they're closed.

Does it have Wright/Breezer type drops?

If it is from Paragon then you could order it here:

Try HERE (http://derailleurhanger.com/) for your replacement derailleur hanger. They don't list Form, but you might get lucky.

Thanks - that's good to know. I have Kent Eriksens and they charge like 35$ for a RDH - it does have KE machined on it. Also, the road takes a shorter one than the MTB.

Bummer. It looked like they'd been kinda struggling for a bit but was hoping that was just a nonlocals impression. They looked they made great bikes.

To close the loop - hanger 88 received today (actually two of them), installed, absolutely perfect fit. The bike shifts perfectly, didn't even need any adjustment.

A highly recommended vendor, model customer service.

Thanks again Nick!

Out of curiosity, how do you know for certain that Form Cycles is out of business? With builders who can go into hiding and not respond to customers for months and sometimes years, it's sometimes hard to tell who is actually in business.

Somebody that doesn't respond for months or years is effectively Out Of Business IMO. That's in response to your comment about other builders, not Form cycles specifically as I have no knowledge or interaction with them.

They are out of business, there is a thread somewhere on MTBR about it. I have the Form built Merlin XLM from Competitive Cyclist. It for sure uses Paragon Machine Works dropouts. When I bought the frame I also bought a couple of spare hangers after speaking with Daryl at Form to find out where they sourced them. Shame, really nice frame but tyre clearance in the back is a bit tight. Would have prefered to buy the Form direct but the CC deal was so much better back then and in stock even having to put up with CC's continually declining customer service.
