Said adios to our dog Sadie today. Tough to do, but at 15 she had a good run and was such a good dog.

Dang. Herding digs rule. Her energy will still keep you young, even after today.

Sadie would want you to get another fur child to love ASAP. My dogs assured me this was so.

Bye Sadie.

I'm sure you had a great time when you were with TD. You're moving on, but he'll always remember you and how wonderful you were when you were with him.

This.

Cats seem to pass along the same message.

I'm sorry for your loss. At least she no longer has to suffer with not being able to be able to do all the things she used to be able to do.

If you are feeling dog-deprived but not ready to have your own again, you may want to consider fostering.

I can understand how sad you are.

But I also know that Sadie wanted nothing more than for you to be happy.
So try to do that too.

Always tough losing a loved one. Especially one who had nothing but unconditional love. So thoughts and prayers.

Huge condolences to you. What a great furry friend you had.

I'm looking at my beloved Mac (the kids changed his name to pig) and he's lost about 1/3rd of his body weight since July. He doesn't eat much at all these days. The good news is that he's keenly interested in his family and loves to snuggle. I'm not ready to let him go, but as soon as I feel/thiking he's in pain or quits eating entirely, I'm going to have to let him go.

My wife is fighting it with diet a psychology. I think he'll win.

Beautiful dog and I am so sorry for your loss of her companionship and the joy I am sure she added to your life. Loosing a friend such as Sadie is a deep loss and her memory will give you peace.

I still grieve for the loss of my best boy Riley. Time goes on........

Sorry for your loss!
We had to say goodbye to our beloved dog a few years ago and to one of our cats back in August.
Always tough to do but like it was already said, remember how well you treated her and what a great life she had!

So sorry, your pet knows they were loved and cherished, they were happy to have you as an partner. Very sad but they also know they are in pain, and my Vet told me that doing this is a gift, not a punishment, to help your friend out.

So sorry.

She was one of a kind, but also part of a package.

Her sister Maggie just spent the first night without her sister in over 15 yrs, We'll see how she adjusts.

Thanks again for all the kindness.

Bummer.

Live every day trying to be the person your dog thought you were. She was lucky to have you.

Animals are awesome.

Great pics. Love the one of the sistas. The expression on Sadie's face is awesome with that little smirk.

Like everyone else said, 15 great years of memories.
