Can you use the Shimano 9 (7700) Crankset with Dura Ace 10 (7800) speed drive train?

I just like the look of the 7700 crank better, but if it's not going to work or be hard to set up, I will just go a different route.

Thanks.

No worries there. Will work perfectly and will not be hard to set up. I've done this route a few times.

Can I use the left 7800 shifter or do I need a left 7700 shifter?

I have heard that you should go with the Ultegra BB as the Dura Ace 7700 BB was not very durable.

You can use 7800 shifters for both front and rear and either the 7700 or 7800 front derauiller.

As for BB's, yes, people have said time and time again that the Ultegra is better and cheaper.

I have a D/A 9 speed crank on my Ottrott ST and the rest is Ultegra 10 speed. Works great. Sram chain, I think.

from the guy who uses suntour chainrings w/ a da-10 kit.
they all work great... the cainrings self mill the ramps after a few months. looks just like shimano after awhile.
