Could anyone shed some light on the history of Serotta's "Colorado Ti" frame set. In particular I'd like to learn the type of tubes used and it's relationship to Serotta's current Ti offerings along with the geometry for a 55cm frame size. Lastly, what fork was commonly provided with this frame?

Thanks,

I believe this was the original name of what became the Legend Ti. We sold one of these years ago when I worked at a bike store - with full Record it went for $4,800, at the time the most expensive bike we had ever sold. This was a fully externally butted/swaged Colorado Concept tubeset, and, I believe, largely similar to what you'd get on a Legend Ti.

Most of the built bikes I've seen have had Kestrel EMS forks, though I imagine you would have been able to put your choice of a Kestrel, SR/Suntour, or steel fork on it.

No idea on the geometry.
