For the build I'm working on, I decided to go with a tapered fork.

My options so far are Columbus Grammy, Enve tapered and Whisky.

What else is out there that I should be considering, and which would you choose?

I used a Cannondale SuperSix Hi-Mod take-off that I picked up from my LBS on my custom...I quite like it.

I am considering trying the Trek/Bontrager RXL in 40mm on my new custom SS/Fixed. Started a thread asking about the fork quality the other day. but it went unanswered.

Got the ENVE. Really great fork.

I really liked my full-carbon tapered Specialized Tarmac/Allez fork. Pretty comfortable, very good directional stability and a solid front end feel. Noticeably stiffer than my Colnago C75 fork.

If you can find one of those from some Specialized dealer, I would consider it, especially if at a good price.

Be aware that one production run of those forks was recalled, so check the serial carefully.

Enve 1.0, always.

Doesn't the frame's head tube determine how tapered the fork is, though?

I think 44mm allows for most configurations with the correct CK headset.

Yep, as stated, 44mm HT or you can use the Nova (external) or Columbus (internal) tapered HT...I'm talking with steel, of course.
