Does anyone know if these are the Coda hubs with DT 240 internals? Any other info, like rear spacing, quality, etc.?
Thanks!

Can you just pull right hand axle end of rear off? If yes, then FH body slides off, under, 2 toothed discs, couple of conical springs?

OP has it right.

Also, put them on a scale. It looks like that FHB is silver and not black, as I would expect from a 240 based hub. The silver FHB is probably the lower end steel vs. aluminum from the 240.

Here is a pic of the 240 version. They were 235g on my digi-scale.

That's the thing, someone wants to sell them to me but I haven't seen them in person. And I don't want to trek halfway across town to find out that they are a cheapie version.
They look sooooo close to the picture here, but I agree about the silver freehub body looking like a cheaper version.
If only people selling things could take better photos...

I'm starting to think that the hubs are this model:

Thus, not DT 240 based. Sigh. My efforts to find cheap 240 hubs and or hubs with 240 internals continues!

Those even look like they have external 240 shells too. Just branded different?

So who else did DT 240's rebranded? I know of Bontranger, CODA/Cannondale, Reynolds, Giant, and Specialized. Any others? I'm always looking out for older road or mtb wheelsets that have these hubs. Expecially the mtb ones as they can be easily converted to road and come with drillings (24, 28, and 32) that are more reasonable for the demands bad roads and spare tires place on my wheelsets

Avoid the older Hugi's. The first two generations of 240 hubs, not the 240s, had a lot of shortcomings. Poor quality bearings, cracked and broken flanges, star ratchets failing to engage, etc.

Not the same hub as the poor pic in your post. Ebay one has flatted nut on drive side rear..the pic looks like a DT axle end.

98% certain these are the ones. So probably the Sachs built ones, or even worse, the no-name ones that were between Sachs and DT and are reputed to be total c--p.

Good to know, thanks!

I never knew there were DT built CODA hubs. I do know most CODA hubs I came across were terrible. I worked for a Cannondale dealer for years and the CODA hubs were routinely failing.
