Next Thursday, I am doing the Omaha Taco Ride. Probably taking my Hampsten Strada Bianca.

What do I need to know?

The Wabash Trace is typically in great shape, and the elevation change is hardly noticeable. We usually buy beer at the Fil 'R Up and throw it in a backpack. Halfway down the trail is Margaritaville, which is just an excuse to drink a few beers. If you score seating indoors at the steakhouse in Mineola, I'd recommend the burgers over the tacos. It's getting towards the end of the season for most, so it might not be too crowded. The taco ride is about 18 miles roundtrip. Enjoy.

Thanks! That's great info. I like beer and will bring a backpack!

Don't eat the "tacos."

Legit. I harbor the same SoCal taco superiority complex you have. Guisados and Chicos on Figueroa are my jams. If I eat an Iowan taco, I will update you all.
